About Kristina Lamb, LPC
A compassionate guide on your journey toward healing, growth, and peace. With over 20 years of experience, I'm dedicated to helping you find your path forward.

A Journey of Compassion and Service
For over 20 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, families, and adolescents during some of their most challenging moments. My journey into counseling wasn't just a career choice—it was a calling rooted in a deep desire to understand people and help them discover their own capacity for healing and transformation.
Throughout my career, I've served in many roles: as a therapist, a drug and alcohol counselor, and a middle school teacher. Each role has shaped my understanding of the human experience and deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, effective care. Whether I'm working with a teenager navigating identity and peer pressure, an adult struggling with anxiety or depression, or a family trying to rebuild trust and communication, I bring the same core belief to every session: you are not broken, and healing is possible.
Every person I work with teaches me something new about courage, resilience, and the power of human connection. It's an honor to be trusted with your story.
I believe that effective therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. That's why I've trained in multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Experiential Therapy—so I can tailor treatment to fit your unique needs, personality, and goals. My approach is collaborative: you are the expert on your own life, and together, we'll discover the tools and insights that will help you move forward.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelming anxiety, persistent depression, the grip of addiction, the weight of past trauma, or painful family dynamics, I'm here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be heard, understood, and supported. You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. Let's work together to help you find the peace, clarity, and strength you deserve.
Healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about rediscovering who you've always been beneath the pain.
How I Approach Therapy
Therapy is a deeply personal journey, and my role is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be vulnerable, curious, and hopeful. From the moment you walk into my office, my goal is for you to feel welcomed, respected, and understood—not judged or analyzed, but genuinely seen as a whole person with strengths, struggles, and possibilities.
I don't believe in quick fixes or cookie-cutter approaches. Real, lasting change takes time, courage, and self-compassion. My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, but it's also deeply humanistic. I integrate techniques from CBT, MI, DBT, and Experiential Therapy based on what resonates with you and what will best support your goals. Whether we're working to reframe negative thought patterns, strengthen your coping skills, improve your relationships, or process past trauma, I meet you where you are and support you at your own pace.
Above all, I believe in your inherent worth and your capacity for growth. Seeking therapy is an act of courage and self-care and I'm honored to be part of your journey toward a life that feels more peaceful, purposeful, and fulfilling.
